My name is Sally Anderson and I am a fully qualified, traditional acupuncturist working in quiet and relaxing clinics within therapy centres in the Nottingham, Derby and Chorlton, Manchester areas.
I commenced Shiatsu training with Chris Jarmey in the European Shiatsu School 1998 to 2004 and I am now completing my study with the Northern School of Shiatsu. I will qualify as a practitioner in July 2020 and am a student member of the Shiatsu Society.
I graduated from The Acupuncture Academy in 2018 and was awarded a Distinction for their Professional Licentiate in Acupuncture, which is a three year degree qualification accredited by the British Acupuncture Accreditation Board. I was also Highly Commended for my clinical work.
My training has been extensive and covered all aspects of Chinese medical theory, with a focus on the five element approach. This means that I will consider your main health problem, together with a holistic approach to you as an individual.
My clinic is licensed by the local authority Environmental Health department and I hold full medical malpractice and public/products liability insurance cover.
I am a member of the British Acupuncture Council and adhere to the Council’s Codes of Safe Practice and Professional conduct. British Acupuncture Council members are also registered with the Professional Standards Authority which is a government body set up to regulate health and social care providers, and is accountable to Parliament.
