My name is Sally Anderson and I am a fully qualified, traditional acupuncturist and shiatsu practitioner working in quiet and relaxing clinics within therapy centres in the Nottingham, Derby and Chorlton, Manchester areas.
I graduated from the Northern School of Shiatsu in July 2020, completing a three year Diploma course accredited by The Shiatsu Society, with a focus on a Zen approach to Shiatsu, whilst incorporating Traditional Chinese Medicine and Five Element approaches.
I graduated from The Acupuncture Academy in 2018 and was awarded a Distinction for their Professional Licentiate in Acupuncture, which is a three year degree qualification accredited by the British Acupuncture Accreditation Board. I was also Highly Commended for my clinical work.
I am also a specialist in treating children, having completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Paediatric Acupuncture from the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine (CICM). Please see the ‘Children’s Treatments’ page for further details.
My training has been extensive and covered all aspects of Chinese medical theory, with a focus on the five element approach. This means that I will consider your main health problem, together with a holistic approach to you as an individual.
